Old

The other day, in discussing growing up, Ethan pointed out that

“Mom, you must be old.”

“Why yes I am, how can you tell?”

“Well, you’re bottom is really big, so that means you’re old.”

Really?

Hmmmm...so that explains why my butt has gotten bigger. I thought I had put on a few pounds but apparently it's just my age.

Does that mean if I actually go to the gym instead of just looking at my shoes I could get younger?

Brenda, it's a nice feeling isn't it?

Jannah, it means if you can see your shoes over your belly, you must already be younger, so you don't need to go to the gym.

I love it! I must be old too. I've really been missing you as I started my 6:30 am walking again because I'm officially finished nursing! It's a quiet walk alone, just me and the squirrels, the bunnies, the racoons, the deer, and the coyotes. I'm just hoping for no mountain lions, there've been a few around lately, and I don't want to see one!!! Miss you!
