Bilingual

I’ve been learning another language. I call it “Twoos”. Here are some translations:

“Eyot do it!”

Translation:

“Elliot would really like to do this himself thanks.”

“Ayper ON!!”

Translation:

“No thank you Mom, I’m really not prepared to have my diaper changed right now.”

“EEET! INNER! AYNEEN ALL!”

Translation:

"I'm terribly hungry. Could we please head to the dining hall for dinner?"

“Ass Opper!”

Translation:

"Grasshopper!"

My personal favorite—this must be said very quickly and with great earnestness in order to have the proper effect:

“Eyot ihm oot on OOO!”

Translation:

“Could you please help me put my swim suit on mom? I’d like to go to the lake too.”

I love the quotes! That made me smile! I can't believe that Elliot is big enough to be speaking so "well" :). Darling. We miss you guys.

I personally like Ass Opper.

BTW, loved your family letter! Looks like such a fun place to make lots of memories. Your boys sure are growing up! :)

I just realized that this comment page is comprised entirely of former walking companions--from two different states . . . oh how I miss early morning walking and chatting. Anybody want to move out here to be my walking friend? I can't seem to find one . . . of the non-bear variety anyway.
